Foundation and Early Years: 2010-2015
Founded in 2010 by Robert Peterson, U-Trust Moving started as a local moving company in Tacoma, WA. The goal was to provide reliable and affordable moving services. In 2012, the company gained a strong customer base due to its excellent service. By 2014, U-Trust Moving expanded to include long-distance moving.
Growth Phase: 2015-2020
In 2015, U-Trust Moving increased its fleet and hired more staff, reaching 20 employees and 12 trucks by 2016. The introduction of an online booking system in 2018 improved operational efficiency.
Challenges and Adaptation: 2020-2022
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed significant challenges. In response, Robert Peterson implemented health protocols and launched the “Safe Move” initiative in 2021, offering contactless moving options.
Community Focus: 2022-2024
In 2022, U-Trust Moving partnered with local charities to provide discounted moving services. By 2023, the fleet grew to 20 trucks and the team expanded to 47 employees, emphasizing eco-friendly practices.
Future Plans: 2024 and Beyond
Entering 2024, U-Trust Moving plans to expand into neighboring states and invest in employee training, maintaining its commitment to customer service and community involvement.
